after 28 years on Maui I moved to Pine Mountain Club, California.
After losing the love of my life.
we were together for 26 years making all our dreams come true.

it has been a great year so far I’ve designed my dream garden in my backyard here on the mountain and overcome many obstacles, growing herbs, vegetables, flowers, and overcoming my challenges with the critters.
i’ve met so many people and made new friends at our Sunday farmers market and participating has been a great Joy giving me a sense of community and place and knowing that I love it here and I’m meant to be here and just like my husband said to me before he died as we were looking out the kitchen window here in Pine Mountain club. It’s hard to go on when you lose somebody I never knew how hard and sad it could be but we have to find that Joy on the other side of our heart and it is possible to be in a quiet, peaceful slow life where music is the healingtouch and nature immersion is the best thing for our soul.
creativity is the best thing for me and I’ve immersed myself in everything that I do from cooking gardening, card making, painting on T-shirts but now I’m getting onto the real thing of becoming an artist and I started to paint these golden hills on wood and canvas and I’m ready to just let it flow. so stay tuned for California plein air painting!
